Pavevolution’s Kandla Grey calibrated stone is a stunning visual, impacting on all to see. It’s silvery grey rich tones offer a unique characteristic and beauty. This natural stone surface of the stone, is riven in effect. The hand cut edges are they only constant, slightly rough but can easily create straight lines. One of the most popular of Indian sandstone’s, easy to see why.

Formed million of years ago, Indian sandstone is a sedimentary stone, which consists of small grains which are held together by a silicon ‘natural cement’. It’s this ‘cement’ that gives the sandstone is wide ranging variations in colour and texture. Silicon is a very tough substance, which is why sandstone is so hard wearing.

The riven look is created by expertly splitting the flagstones by hand, a classic looking stone. This hard grey flagstone is perfect for all outdoor use, flourishing under the coldest of British climates. The Indian sandstone is hard wearing and durable, a frost resistant paving. The stone will weather over time to give a more natural appearance. It requires minimal maintenance, cleaning in the autumn months.

It’s suitable for all conservatory flooring, pathways, garden patios, planters, terraces and pool surroundings.
