Pavevolution’s Raj Green calibrated sandstone is the go to of the Indian sandstone. The golden tones, natural greens, purplish tints and hues of brown, make a tapestry of colour. This natural stone surface of the stone, is riven in effect. The hand cut edges are they only constant, slightly rough but can easily create straight lines.
Formed million of years ago, Indian sandstone is a sedimentary stone, which consists of small grains which are held together by a silicon ‘natural cement’. It’s this ‘cement’ that gives the sandstone is wide ranging variations in colour and texture. Silicon is a very tough substance, which is why sandstone is so hard wearing.
The riven look is created by expertly splitting the flagstones by hand, a classic looking stone. This hard multi coloured flagstone is perfect for all outdoor use, flourishing under the coldest of British climates. The Indian sandstone is hard wearing and durable, a frost resistant paving. The stone will weather over time to give a more natural appearance. It requires minimal maintenance, cleaning in the autumn months.
Calibrated to 22mm. This sandstone is suitable for all conservatory flooring, pathways, garden patios, planters, terraces and pool surroundings.
